Product Manager - Internationalization

At Monthio we’re on the lookout for an experienced Product Manager to spearhead our internationalization efforts, and it might just be you that we’re looking for.

Monthio is a fintech company established in 2018 with the ambition to redefine financial services. We offer a flexible and diverse work environment, and we’ll provide you with the right tools and conditions for you to do your best work. We’re currently a team of around 50 people.

We offer a B2B SaaS product that’s used by some of the largest European financial institutions to revolutionize their credit processes and simplify their customer experiences. Our product radically improves the cumbersome data collection and consolidation process that’s typically found in lending and other bank products, relieving both the banks’ customers and customer advisors from tedious manual labor. We draw on a wealth of data sources to construct a comprehensive financial overview of any customer, enabling financial institutions to offer better and easier advisory to their customers.

After successfully capturing the majority of the Danish market, it’s time to ramp up our efforts internationally. Due to the stark differences in both regulation and data sources among countries, the product needs some localization in each market to really be successful. It is your responsibility to ensure that we focus on the right markets while also focusing on the right initiatives within each market.

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

• Spearhead and champion the internationalization efforts across the entire company
• Serve as the primary point of contact for everything related to the product's international applications.
• Work closely with your team of engineers and a designer to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvements
• Lead market research and analysis to identify and evaluate new international opportunities.
• Develop and implement tailored go-to-market strategies for diverse global markets.
• Conduct extensive user research to find and strengthen product/market fit in different markets
• Find the right balance between localization and standardization across markets
• Manage the entire product lifecycle, from planning and development to launch and post-launch adjustments

We’re looking for someone with at least some of the following qualities:

• Product management experience, preferably in a fast growing tech company
• Experience with internationalization of products
• Experience from the financial sector, preferably within credit and/or fintech
• Resourcefulness
• Experimental and creative thinker who’s able to think outside the box
