API Developer for Conversational & Generative AI Agents

About the role and Nuuday:
We are seeking skilled API Developers to join our cross functional team here in Nuuday. Focus is on building robust integrations between the Cognigy conversational AI platform and various third-party systems such as Genesys, Netcracker among others such as datalakes and data warehouses. This role will play a crucial part in building the features needed for voice & chat bot agents and agent assistance, to provide them with the intelligence needed to assist our customers here in Nuudays. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in API development, with experience in conversational AI technologies being a significant plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs for integrating the Cognigy AI platform with third-party systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze integration requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Develop secure, scalable, and efficient code to facilitate seamless data exchange and functionality between systems.
• Implement authentication and authorization protocols to ensure secure data access and transmission.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of integrations, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Provide technical documentation for developed APIs and integrations, including usage guides and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in API technologies, Cognigy platform features, and third-party system updates to promote continuous improvement.
• Offer technical support and guidance for integration-related queries and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web development, or related field.
• Proven experience as an API Developer or similar role, is a valuable addition. Will be required to develop, test, implement and maintain APIs integrations.
• Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and API security best practices, including Postman or similar
• Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, typescript, Node.js, or Python.
• Experience with VS studio or knowledge of similar integrated development environment (IDE) software.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and version management including knowledge of GitHub or similar.
• Preferred – Familiarity with the Cognigy AI platform and its API capabilities, as well as Custom extension (Containerization)is a great plus.
• Preferred – Knowledge of Genesys and Netcracker systems and their API capabilities is an advantage.
• Knowledge of OAuth, JWT, and other authentication/authorization protocols.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a highly, dynamic environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Danish language is a favorable, but not mandatory.
