We are seeking highly skilled and motivated NPI Engineers to strengthen our NPI team. Join MagVenture, a leading company specializing in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) technology. TMS is increasingly recognized for treating and researching major neurological conditions such as depression and OCD. Since 2010, the FDA has approved numerous new TMS based treatments, primarily in psychiatry, with ongoing research expanding its applications to conditions like Parkinson's, PTSD, dementia and rehabilitation.
MagVenture employs 190 professionals and is experiencing rapid international growth, leading to exciting new projects. We are looking to add two skilled NPI Engineers to our team with experience in electronics and mechanical engineering respectively. Our NPI Engineers will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between R&D projects and operations, ensuring the successful introduction of new products into production. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, QA and supply chain, to ensure new products meet all quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Expect a challenging role in an international and innovative environment, interacting with stakeholders across functions, making a significant impact on people with severe neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent NPI in product development projects, from initial concept through to production launch.
- Collaborate with R&D to understand product design and specifications.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that align with product design and quality standards.
- Develop and implement manufacturing tools and test-setups for new products.
- Work with operations and supply chain teams to ensure smooth transition from prototype to mass production.
- Establish and maintain project timelines, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during the product ramp-up phase.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations e.g. ISO13485.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field). Proven experience (5-7 years) in New Product Introduction (NPI) or a similar role, preferably within the Medical Device industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experienced with either SolidWorks or Altium Designer.
- Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Danish.
