We are looking for a new Business Development Manager to join the VMS team. You will get the opportunity to embark on a growth journey within VMS product development and contribute to identifying and realizing new product opportunities from concept to execution.

Establish and cultivate strong networks in the VMS landscape
As our Business Development Manager, you will be pivotal in product development, ideation, and leveraging market insights to identify promising opportunities aligned with the overall VMS strategy (Vitamin & Mineral Supplement). You will conduct analyses to ensure alignment with company goals and take the lead in driving opportunities from concept to execution. Consequently, you must navigate among internal stakeholders such as RA, Marketing, Local Sales Markets, Order Management, Portfolio Optimization, etc.

Additionally, establishing and maintaining strong networks within the VMS landscape is essential for succeeding in the role. Through proactive relationship-building efforts, you will strengthen strategic partnerships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs). This enables you to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive insights, ensuring a continuous pipeline of innovative opportunities.

Likewise, you will actively participate in external meeting forums, representing Orifarm and leveraging your industry knowledge to identify new product leads and potential collaboration opportunities. Internally, you will work cross-functionally to align project priorities and planning, ensuring seamless coordination and execution across teams.

Finally, you must be within commuting distance of the Orifarm offices in Søborg or Odense. In this position, you will report to the Head of Global Innovation, OTC & Consumer Healthcare, Lars Uglebjerg Olsen.

Structured Product Developer with great networking skills
We imagine you bring a relevant academic background, with a minimum of a BSc. in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or Food and Nutrition. Furthermore, 2-3 years of experience with sourcing and supplier relations from either the VMS industry or similar positions in related industries, such as FMCG, retail, etc., will be considered an advantage.

Your exceptional analytical skills are a key asset. They enable you to extract actionable insights from data, contributing to informed decision-making and strategic planning. Your experience in international environments, which has honed your cultural adaptability, is a unique advantage that will help you navigate diverse markets and forge successful partnerships.

On a personal level, you are a natural collaborator driven by a profound and structured can-do attitude. You approach challenges with enthusiasm and determination, viewing them as opportunities for growth and innovation, and your structured approach enables you to ensure simultaneous progress on the projects that are in current priority.

Your networking abilities, combined with your approachable and charismatic attitude, are highly valued. They will enable you to sustain meaningful stakeholder management, as you will be one of the go-to persons for the agile VMS team, of which you will be a vital member.
