Senior Planning Analyst - Product Development (1-year Contract)

Please note that this is a 1-year contract position, work location is Billund, Denmark and no relocation assistance is offered for this role.

Core Responsibilities

  • Facilitate interactions with managers and senior leaders across all capacity groups within Product Development
  • Orchestrate capacity choices across the connected functions within Product Development to strike the optimal balance of performance, the Portfolio Plan, flexibility, and capacity
  • Analyze and recommend solutions to complex situations within balancing portfolio planning and development capacity.
  • Lead improvement initiatives for the D&OP process, including complex and ambiguous continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Part of boosting a culture with increased empowerment, trust, and accountability for the overall goals – working by the philosophy that leadership is for everyone.

As part of the newly established Development & Operational Planning (D&OP) function within Product Development, you will work with dedicated team members in a dynamic environment. Your mission is to optimize the product development process by balancing the portfolio plan with development capacities over the long term. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure transparency and informed decision-making at both operational and strategic levels. You are ready to implement new processes, navigate complex interdependencies, and take the initiative to get results!

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven excellence in managing and facilitating cross-functional meetings
  • Experience of working with diverse stakeholders and tackle complex problems or exploit challenging opportunities
  • Track-record of using analytic skills for impactful visual presentation and decision support
  • Some operational experience with Product Development, Sales & Operations Planning or Business Planning Processes is an advantage
  • Excel skills at advanced level, knowledge of Power BI and SAP is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English
