In this role you will use your knowledge and experience to lead strategic initiatives, provide expert guidance and shape circular recommendations for the LEGO Group. To succeed, you rely on a record of strong project management capabilities, proven integrated thinking, and very strong people and communications skills.

Core Responsibilities

  • Expand our current Replay circular strategy and execution capabilities by partnering with the Head of Circular Models to develop and deliver a global strategy for keeping LEGO bricks in play for longer
  • Develop internal policies and guidelines on circular solutions for end-of-life and ensure they are well embedded into the business
  • Partner with other internal LEGO Group areas and markets to systematically deliver a portfolio of region- and market-based circular initiatives
  • Oversee the creation/development of data flows to inform the portfolio of initiatives
  • Apply strong project management skills to run projects in an effective and structured manner, while engaging with relevant colleagues using your interpersonal skills.
  • Lead a cross-functional group to facilitate progress and information flow

The LEGO Group’s Circular Models team, which sits within Environmental Sustainability, is leading the enterprise on this topic – supporting the LEGO Group’s Planet Promise by focusing on building capabilities to unlock Circular Models. This is a key sustainability priority with significant focus and support across the organization.

  • Extensive experience in strategy, planning and program management
  • Strong knowledge of circularity and end-of-life solutions in the context of a corporate strategy
  • Motivated by being “hands-on” to analyze and solve complex issues
  • Energized by managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-directed with analytical-conceptual strength and high attention to detail
  • Collaborative standout colleague with excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability to engage collaborators at all levels to generate shared purpose
