Senior Sourcing Manager - Concept Sourcing
We are looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager who will be responsible for sourcing of electrical components for our sales concepts (Solar Plus, Solar Select and Solar Netto).
It is a new position, where a part of the job will be to establish this new role in the organization. The person selected for this position will play a vital part in delivering on the targets set in relation to our new three-year strategy period.
What will you be doing?
You will manage a small team consisting of 1-2 sourcing employees. Together with the team, you will work close together with our category team across our nine product categories but there will also be stakeholder management up against our market and sales departments. Travel activities should be expected.
You will be leading contract negotiations with new vendors and do vendor scouting to ensure a strong portfolio of concept suppliers. You also must ensure product and vendor compliance up against Solar’s governance and sustainability goals.
Your tasks will also include:
- Running tenders (including RFP, RFQ and negotiations)
- Risk assessment, new vendors
- Contract management related to the vendor portfolio
- Tracking savings
- Manage sourcing project pipeline
- Optimizations of freight

Are you the new Senior Sourcing Manager we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with several years of sourcing experience in sourcing on senior level. We prefer candidates who has experience with people management.
Furthermore, we are looking for:
- Experience from working within category management
- Have proven track record in sourcing electrical, heat water or sanitary products from the far east or other low-cost manufacturing destinations
- Speak and write English on international business level
As a starting point, you will be located at our head office in Vejen, but we are open to you possibly living elsewhere. However, you must be aware that your onboarding and your close colleagues are located in Vejen.
