To support MagVenture's rapid expansion, we seek a Team Lead Electronics to guide our electronic development initiatives and create next-generation TMS treatment devices.

Electronic Development at MagVenture
At MagVenture, electronic development is crucial for integrating mechanical and other subsystems robustly, enhancing performance and reliability. This hands-on role involves creating innovative electronic solutions, ensuring that we stay at the cutting edge of our industry.

The electronics team is vital in developing state-of-the-art products. The Electronics Team Lead will shape and prioritize the roadmap with the R&D and the MagVenture leadership team, focusing on both the development of new solutions and maintaining the existing platforms.

Position Overview
The Electronics Team Lead will be pivotal in strengthening our electronics team. You will be both the Team Lead and actively involved in electronic development. You will guide our electronic development initiatives, making this role crucial to our growth strategy and offering an opportunity to lead a dynamic team within our R&D department.

Reporting directly to the Head of R&D, you will play a key role in steering our electronic development projects from concept to delivery.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of electronic engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop new electronic solutions to integrate with mechanical and other subsystems more robustly and enhance performance and reliability.
  • Manage the electronic resources and the backlog of product maintenance tasks.
  • Develop best-practice guidelines for electronic engineering and facilitate collaboration across the company.
  • Grow the team of electronic engineers, including coaching and competence development.
  • Improve collaboration with external partners, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Enhance the use of CAD (Altium), reuse of compliance data, and faster implementation of new products and product changes by ECO.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation of development processes and outcomes.
  • Support prototype assembly, functional, and product qualification tests.
  • Ensure product compliance and certification according to industry standards.
  • Support product manufacturing release.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor or Master of Science in Electronic Engineering.
  • Team player with demonstrable leadership experience in electronic development.
  • Expertise in electronic design and drawing standards for PCB, embedded systems, and power electronics.
  • Hands-on practical skills and knowledge of state-of-the-art manufacturing methods.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic prototyping and commonly used tools in an electronic workshop.
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility and safety standards.
  • Experience in simulation and analysis of electronic circuits is desirable.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality and reliability.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with management and multi-disciplinary team members.
  • Professional communication skills in both Danish and English.
  • Experience with PLM systems and Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Greater than 5 years of experience in electronic design within precision medical, electronic instruments, or industrial hi-tech equipment over the complete product lifecycle.
  • Experience in design for reliability and manufacturability.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team.
