Site Assistant at Humberside Airport

Ørsted

Join us in this role where you’ll be based with the team working from our onshore construction site office at Humberside Airport, supporting offshore work during this three-year contract.

Welcome to Project & Site Support
You’ll be part of Project & Site Support UK Portfolio where you, together with your colleagues, will be supporting the Hornsea 3 project, building the world’s largest offshore wind farm, with administrative and practical support. Your daily colleagues in the project will be the team which is working offshore, who you will support, making sure they have optimal conditions on site. As a team, we’re supportive, help each other, and collaborate across distance. We set up knowledge sharing sessions to share our learnings with each other and assign buddies to new starters.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • receiving and signposting guests and deliveries
  • providing inductions and information to new personnel on the project
  • managing building access systems and fire safety
  • creating documents, incl. PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, GIS plan co-ordination, and general correspondence
  • supporting the Offshore Operations team by maintaining records and SOMS.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have considerable experience in administration on a construction, oil and gas, offshore site, or similar international working environment
  • have an understanding of logistics, imports and customs duty
  • are positive and energetic and have a welcoming manner
  • have strong organisational and administrative skills
  • are familiar with the Microsoft Office package, incl. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and also SAP
  • are prepared to take DBS and airport security checks.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
