We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Retail Marketing Operations Manager. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Retail Marketing initiatives, specifically focusing on the development, implementation, and optimization of packaging, displays, and other point-of-sale materials. Also, you will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and quality, ensuring the efficient implementation of these materials across our physical retail landscape.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Product Development and Implementation: Lead the development and implementation of new packaging, displays, and other point-of-sale materials to enhance brand desirability and drive sales
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and quality from inception through the creative process to execution
  • Material Library Management: Maintain and improve the material library, ensuring it is a seamless and organized resource for the team
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvements, implementing best practices and innovative solutions
  • Commercial Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and ensure the sourcing of the right materials and suppliers
  • Supplier Management & Compliance: Order and approve prototypes, ensure prototype compliance (testing and material screening), negotiate initial prices and minimum order quantities with suppliers
  • Cost Management: Pursue and achieve ongoing price savings and cost reductions in collaboration with the relevant teams
  • End-to-End Process: Drive the end-to-end process in collaboration with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities: Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed to address evolving business needs

You will work closely with creative teams in Retail Marketing, other Marketing functions, suppliers, and key stakeholders in the business, including Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, and market teams, to ensure a best-in-class end-to-end process and project management.

A proactive and strategic teamplayer
Do you excel in project and stakeholder management, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities? We hope to see that you are an effective communicator who can collaborate across functions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Additionally, we hope that you have and can demonstrate:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Retail Marketing, Operations, Point-of-Sale Materials Development (packaging specifically), Procurement, or similar, with a proven track record of success
  • Experience from jewellery, retail, fashion or FMCG industry
  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of the jewellery market trends and best practices is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly strong PowerPoint presentation skills and advanced Excel skills
  • Fluency in English, written and verbally
