As senior project manager in Development & Governance in Atea Managed Services you will lead IT Capability projects, IT Service Development projects, solution implementation, and transformation projects serving all Atea Managed Services divisions with a focus on delivering value.

You will be responsible for the management of projects when assessing, planning, resource allocation, execution, daily management, together with the project team do technical and organizational problem solving as well as follow-up, hand over, evaluation and closure of the project. You must manage the stakeholder’s expectations, drive, and motivate the project team and be the link between management and project team, organize internal team and cross-team cooperation, control task completion and project deliveries to ensure scope and quality is fulfilled.

You will lead the project on behalf of the Steering Committee and ensure project deliveries meet required scope, time, budget, and quality constraints. You liaise throughout the project with the Steering Committee, the Sponsor and the PMO Manager. You are responsible for compliance with the Internal Project process and agreed governance. This includes planning, taking active part in activities, that involve communicating with project team and project Steering Committee, other departments in Atea, managing local as well as 3rd party resources for being able to deliver project outcome.

Working with your project team your primary tasks will be to:

  • Take ownership of the project and drive it proactively following Internal Project Process to implement projects according to agreed governance.
  • Unleash creativity and innovation from the Project Team.
  • Carry out risk analysis, risk response planning, and risk monitoring and control with respect for budgets, governance, and deadlines.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing with project manager colleagues as well as provide expert advice to lower-level project managers.
  • Create and manage clear scope, milestones, tasks, handover activities for all involved parties.
  • Plan and manage resources (time, people, assets, 3rd party involvement) to meet project completion deadlines.
  • Share knowledge with relevant stakeholders throughout the project timeline.
  • Cooperate with Enterprise Architects, Service Owners, Product Managers, IT Operations Tower Leads and Team Leads, IT Operations Experts (SME) and Service Delivery Managers during the project.
  • Facilitate workshops and planning activities and participate in solution implementation activities as a management force.
  • Ensure that necessary documentation is gathered, stored, and passed according to agreed knowledge management policy (KB, emails, internet etc.) for the individual projects.
  • Gather financial documentation and align with accounting department.

Qualifications

  • You have solid theoretical knowledge and practical experience in managing IT projects.
  • You are driven by delivering high quality aligned with the expectations of the management.
  • You preferably have a PRINCE2 Practitioner and / or PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certification.
  • You are familiar with RISK management, cost management, quality processes, project change management, leadership, and team building, problem-solving, reporting, facilitating meetings and workshops.
  • You have high sense of responsibility, timeliness, and structure.
  • English at a good level, both orally and in writing.
