Do you want to innovate the LEGO Building Experience?

If you are passionate about creating visual content to help enhance the LEGO building experience both for the physical and digital building instruction, then this position is for you.

Come join the Building Experience Platform Team and create visual content for the LEGO physical and digital building instructions, where we develop and inspire the builders of tomorrow.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create and/or redesign visual content to improve the physical and digital LEGO Building Instruction
  • Develop assets in relevant formats, build and maintain libraries and securing placement in Content Management System
  • Create 2D animations from still images
  • Align and facilitate 2D content between physical and digital building experience as well as securing art direction
  • Responsible for aligning and maintaining visual identity in our digital building experience app (Responsible for aligning and maintaining the visual identity in our printed and digital building experiences)
  • Secure strong process and platform thinking in production of visual content
  • Closely and iteratively collaborate with a diverse and passionate group of Building Instruction Specialists, Designers, App Developers, Marketing and other relevant partners

In our department, LEGO Building Experience & Virtual Asset Design, we deliver extraordinary building experiences and virtual elements for both the physical and digital instructions for the LEGO builders of tomorrow.

We value close collaboration with our business partners, working with an agile mentality. Our objective is to develop new and inspiring LEGO building experiences with a united physical and digital design language.

Do you have what it takes?

  • demonstrated ability in user experience design across a variety of physical and digital products
  • A proven portfolio of design work is required
  • Strong technical knowledge in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Skilled with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate or a similar animation tool
  • A self-starter with expertise in communicating and explaining work to partners and colleagues
  • Passion to design for different target- and age groups
  • Skilled with digital prototyping tools, conducting user tests and synthesizing data at various stages of the product development lifecycle
  • Basic 3D software knowledge and printing technologies & color understanding would have an added advantage
