SSI Diagnostica Group is a clinical diagnostic company with a mission to help prevent, monitor, and diagnose clinical diseases through our quality portfolios of Reagents and IVD Diagnostic products and solutions. We are a carve-out of the Danish Serum Institute owned by a Private Equity Fond. We are founded on the success of strong organic growth and acquisition of 3 clinical diagnostic companies. We recently signed off a new 5-year strategy for the group embarking on a journey to become one global IVD Diagnostic powerhouse.

The Team & Position – International Product Marketing Director, Global Sales & Marketing
You will be joining the Global Sales & Marketing organization driving key Commercial efforts and contributing to the success of the company. As a Marketing Director, you will work closely with Sales, Operations, Demand Planning, Finance, and Regulatory ensuring your strategic efforts are closely aligned wtih your cross functional partners. We work at a fast pace with a strong focus on numerous types of stakeholders in the organization across Denmark, USA, and China.

We are looking for an International Product Marketing Director to join the team – reporting to the SVP Head of Global Sales & Marketing. You will become an integral part of building and integrating our global organization whilst we continue to grow organically and through new M&A’s. You will help shape Marketing strategies specifically in our Respiratory area and across our product portfolio including Gastric and Bloodborne products. You will help evolve our European team and can expect to grow with the position as the area and priorities of the team expand. You will work directly with a talented group of top colleagues from the industry with important responsibilities to our strategy and business agenda. You will be a key player in succeeding as we balance and execute for growth and drive business performance.

Purpose

  • Responsible for building Respiratory Marketing and working on the broader portfolio strategy.
    • Develop and execute marketing material for various marketing platforms across internal and external platforms and stakeholders for kits and consumables product portfolio
    • Develop regional marketing plan for selected sales region and implement marketing material for global products in that region
  • Participate in and collaborate with global and regional marketing functions such as other marketings teams (NA, Europe, RoW) as well as Corporate Development and Communication to enhance SSID Group voice across platforms, products and communications

Tasks

  • Responsible for guiding the Marketing, Training and Commercial Operations for SSI Diagnostica Group’s Respiratory portfolio.
    • Drives content development and marketing communication
    • Develop Marketing strategy, brand planning, annual marketing plans and associated tactical planning
    • Develop and drive forward commercial life cycle management strategy
    • Optimize the global sales and profit of ImmuView and set strategic plan for broader product portfolio
    • Understand market dynamics; identify levers driving demand and competitive strategies
    • Manage and monitor the effectiveness of programs including marketing campaigns and new product launches ensuring ROI on activities
  • Drive cross functional collaboration across all geographic regions, across the product portfolio and partners closely with all functions to ensure strong performance.
    • Guide and partners with the Sales teams with Marketing Operations delivery
    • Works with Finance to manage the marketing budget and works cross functionally with other regions on financial resources and activity coordination
    • Lead Europe regional events jointly with colleagues
    • Partner with Regulatory departments on key registration activities
    • Work in coordination with Operations, Demand Planning and cross functional partners on demand planning and product forecasting
  • Manage Marketing Operations for Respiratory and regional support
    • Develop and manage distribution of promotional materials
    • Responsible for digital marketing (website, SoMe etc.) strategy and execution
    • Support SSID Hillerød with marketing communication and campaigns
    • Support SS D Nordic team with marketing communication, campaign and congress activities for Nordic Trade products.
    • Support Nordic team with KOL activities and local meetings to grow the market and increase awareness.
    • Build relationship to KOL in the Nordic focus on SSI D group and trade products
    • Assist manager in driving expanded Marketing capabilities and processes within Europe and collaborate on Global efforts
  • Assist in developing, implementing and optimizing overall processes and procedures around Commercial activities
  • Other projects as identified

Competencies

  • Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects independently and simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities and timelines
  • Good understanding of business and markets and the ability to convert this into activities and communication to meet marketing and communication objectives
  • Experienced in developing and executing various types of marketing activities such as: annual business plans, communication objectives, activation activities, marketing budget administration, marketing toolboxes etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with KOLs and driving key activities
  • Team player who works with a can-do attitude and pro-actively drives plans, activities, and responsibilities
  • Experience working with marketing agencies and driving Commercial execution
  • Creative – thinking outside the box
  • Change-ready mindset

Qualifications

  • MSc. Economics & Marketing or other relevant master
  • Experience from a commercial organization and/or communication team
  • Super user of Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel, etc.)
  • Experienced with Commercial Technology (Salesforce.com, Tableau, Commercial Analytics)
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Excellent written and spoken English & Danish (Scandinavian DK/SE/N)
  • Good understanding of IVD diagnostic industry, benefit if experience with Microbiology
  • Relevant professional background combined with marketing experience and education / courses
  • Experience expanding Marketing capabilities and launching new products is preferred
  • Must be open to travel for Commercial activities
