the role
The Installation Project Manager - in collaboration with the commercial project team - ensures, that the project is delivered on time, within budget and scope following the required safety and quality standards. The Installation Project Manager ensures the project execution organization is staffed according to the Vestas standard project organization or as otherwise agreed with the commercial project team.
Throughout installation you will be required to provide regular project reviews to the project management team. Open collaboration is an essential craft to convey throughout the project and should always be clear and concise. Communication to project stakeholders in spirit of simplicity is essential to maintain company and customer value.

main responsibilities
-Planning, adjusting, and improving the installation concept while driving cost efficiency in the installation planning phase.
-Execute site visits with suppliers in customers in the preparation phase of projects to ensure Vestas Construction Project Execution Manuals, HSE and quality standards are met.
-Point of contact for customers and suppliers to align the installation concept and layout changes.
-Direct the implementation of the installation concepts towards Vestas main stakeholders; externally (crane, installation teams, road and site preparation, civil works, etc.) as well as internally (foundation, site supervision, site management, finance, transport, commercial project management, etc.)
-Monitor project risk, progress, budget, and performance on a continuous basis.
-Support the site execution team on demand.
-Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, site orders, and ensure all reporting requirements are met on time and to the required quality.

about you
-Degree-level education with 3 to 5 years of experience in project execution and installation management. Experience in the wind sector is preferred but not essential.
-Multi-discipline engineering experience with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
-Professional understanding of contract management and commitment to maintaining high levels of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
-Strong focus on customer relations and satisfaction, with the ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, procedures, policies, and systems.
-Fluent in English both spoken and written
-Flexible, adaptive, and willing to travel. (Approx. 80days/year)
