We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma Global IT team, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between needs across all functions in Ascendis Pharma and required solutions, by assessing use cases and applying the right technology (primarily Power Platform and/or AI).

You will learn to develop Power Platform solutions, create process flows, and engage stakeholders across different teams. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Designing, developing, documenting and supporting Power Platform and/or AI solutions (Power/AI experience is not required, we will teach you)
• Participate in updating and adopting the Power Platform Governance Framework
• Understanding operations/processes across all Ascendis Pharma functions, and aligning IT solutions to their needs
• Mapping Power Platform related processes and improving our ways of working
• Engage with stakeholders from different teams/departments and establish strong cross-functional collaborations

Qualifications and Skills:
Ideally, you are starting your third year of your Bachelor studies or the first year of your Master’s studies in the fields of IT, Digital Health, E-Business, Business Administration or something completely different.

Most importantly, you have a passion for IT technologies, are willing to take on new challenges, work with a user-centric mindset, and are driven by problem solving and developing solutions.

Furthermore, you:

• Have an interest in the Power Platform and AI
• Have basic Programming experience, i.e. Python, JavaScript, or something completely different (desired but not required)
• Can juggle several tasks at once
• Can write concisely and persuasively (in English)

You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude. You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.

As a person you are:

• Able to work independently and can run with a task with little supervision
• A self-starter, a do-er and not afraid to learn from your mistakes
• You meet any task with the same energy and motivation, regardless of how interesting it is for you personally
• You are conscientious and proactive about your tasks to meet deadlines

Work hours: 15 hours a week is expected, in peak times up to 20 hours a week. Flexibility around your exams can be arranged with your manager.
