About the job
As Buyer you will be responsible for securing that procurement is done at a competitive level on assigned projects by choosing suppliers, negotiating deals, and placing orders - in close collaboration with Engineering and Project Management. Primary tasks include but not limited to:
- Project purchase for Food & Water industries.
- Request and negotiate quotations with focus on quality and total cost.
- Increase competitiveness in sales bid phase on customer projects.
- Deliver on key figures and follow-up on KPI’s.
- Secure visible cross-functional strategic stakeholder management.

To be successful in this position you must be a proactive, solution- and result-oriented team player with strong communication skills. You work in a structured way with an eye for details and deadlines. You thrive in seeking the best possible deal with an optimistic attitude and a TCO mindset.
What you know
You have relevant procurement education, e.g., a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent, combined with a solid procurement experience within an international company. Experience with project and/or technical procurement will be an advantage. You also have solid experience with purchasing in ERP systems and you master spoken and written English at negotiation level.
