About the department
Global Operational Development consists of approximately 26 employees and has a wide span of responsibility including, but not limited to: Support to the manufacturing sites, technology transfer, cleaning validation, equipment qualification, continued process verification, and optimization projects. The department consists of two teams: Process and Cleaning.
The position
As Manager of the Cleaning team, you will lead a team of 10 highly skilled specialists within the areas of development of cleaning methods and cleaning validation. You will engage and motivate your team to ensure a great work environment and high performance.
Main areas of responsibility are to:
• Continuously develop competencies and ensure high engagement
• Ensure continuous improvements is an integrated part of the way we conduct business
• Take charge of prioritizations and resource allocation to ensure deliverables in your team are met
• Manage and build great relationships with a wide range of stakeholders from the entire organization
Qualifications
You have a relevant scientific education and a proven track record from a similar position, preferably in a comparable industry. You have excellent leadership skills and are a strong communicator, a good listener and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are business driven and highly motivated by never knowing what tomorrow brings. As a person you are trustworthy, and you have a flair for building relationships at all levels. You are decisive and can prioritize and handle multiple activities at a time; you keep the overview in pressured situations, and you are able to come up with solutions and compromises as needed. You are energetic, result oriented and persistent, even when the tasks become complex, and you experience some resistance.
