Join us as our new Industry Technology Specialist.
We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled and motivated Food technologist to head up our laboratory activities linked to the application of enzymes in a range of food products. The data generated in the laboratory are directly used in dialogues with our customers.

Welcome to our European Technical Service team for New Food & Protein.
You will become part of our European Technical Service team, collaborating closely with our colleagues in Sales & Marketing to provide world class technical support and innovative solutions to our customers. The team consists of approx. 10 colleagues in a mix of Scientists and Research Associates who collaborate across disciplines.

In this role you’ll make an impact by leading and coordinating all the laboratory activities related to our technical customer support. You will in a close collaboration with Industry Technology colleagues be playing a key role in understanding customer needs and translating those into relevant laboratory activities for the generation of value adding data. In collaboration with our Application Research, Sales and Marketing units, you will also be involved in laboratory tests supporting the launch of new innovative products and applications to drive growth.

To succeed in this role, you would ideally have:

• Strong scientific skills based on a university degree (M.Sc. or PhD) in food technology. Experience within enzyme applications in food matrixes is a clear asset, but not essential.
• Familiarity with the most common food analyses & methods. Hands on experience with HPLC equipment and data handling, will be advantageous.
• Experience with design of experiments (DOE) analyzing data and a basic understanding of programming.
• A strong customer and business orientation.
• A strong drive, excellent communication and influencing skills while operating effectively in a network-based environment.
• A flair for providing technical training – internally as well as externally.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Location: This job is located in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. Some travelling for customer meetings and trials can be part of your job activities.
