Technical Writer

The Engineering department is looking for an independent, responsible, and passionate Technical Writer, whose main responsibility is developing and maintaining our product documentation. You will be part of the Alicante or Warsaw team, but you will also be a team member in one of the established R&D teams, where you will work closely with developers from Denmark, Spain, and Poland. You will also have an opportunity to influence and drive the further development of our product.

Responsibilities:

• You will become a content expert in our Research & Development department.
• You will work within Scrum teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
• You will craft, restructure, and maintain the product documentation.
• You will review documentation written by other team members.
• You will ensure that the content layer and terms are consistent across all products.
• You will participate in enhancing the flow of communication about our standards and software solutions, which are used by consultants, partners, and customers.
• You will actively participate in scrum ceremonies, sprint planning sessions, and other activities where plans are made with the entire team and the Product Owner. You will also be part of sprint demos, where the latest innovations are shared with the larger team.
• You will estimate the effort required for performing documentation activities.
• You will join the team of Technical Writers and work together on methods, standards, processes, and language reviews of documentation and labels in our system code.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in communicating about software
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent command of English both spoken and written
• Experience in building and owning documentation with topic-based authoring
• Experience with the docs-as code methodology and Markdown
• Experience working with Git, CI/CD platforms, and integrated development environments
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
