Sustainability Data Lead: Advance our data-led decisions
Are you passionate about working with data? And would you like to join a new team to shape our vision for sustainability data and how we tackle this constantly evolving area?
Help us enhance ECCO's sustainability through data. In this role, you get to use data to help us make important decisions as you define, manage, and use sustainability data in close collaboration with our Finance department.

Co-create and execute our data strategy
Joining Sustainability Communication, Data, and Regulation at our headquarters in Tønder you become part of team 4 colleagues (plus a leader). Your joint mission will be to establish a reliable and forward-looking data basis for measuring progress, making decisions, and communicating clearly and convincingly about ECCO’s sustainability initiatives.
More specifically, you will:
- Help with processes to keep and check sustainability data on product compliance, environment, health and safety, human rights, ESG claims, and reporting.
- Work with regulatory foresight to plan for future data needs.
- Define rules for data collection and management collaborating with Finance, Data, and IT.
- Create insightful data dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Know or learn climate data and methodologies.
Demonstrated Expertise in Data Management
This role requires a strong knowledge of data and how to use it effectively, including the skill to design new data points that reveal new insights. You need to coordinate a complicated value chain and communicate your vision and actions clearly, with confidence and skill in working and influencing in a complex, global context with different cultures and practices.
In addition, you should have:
- At least a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, data, supply chain, or a related field
- 7+ years of data and data strategy experience
- Data project management skills in complex organisations, preferably from manufacturing
- SAP and other data platform skills, as well as an understanding of interoperability
- Adaptability to changes in the role and the area
