As a Partner Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our technology stack. You’ll work closely with our partners to seamlessly integrate our SDK into their games, troubleshoot any technical issues, and continuously optimize our product. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for both the mobile gaming industry and cutting-edge technology.

The Role
As our Partner Engineer, you'll manage our technology stack, collaborate directly with industry partners, and drive technical innovation to enhance our product. You'll work in an environment that values your expertise and supports your growth, alongside a dedicated team committed to advancing mobile gaming monetisation.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on management and development of the entire technology stack to ensure a stable product.
• Engage directly with the company's partners, including game developers and publishers, addressing any integration issues with the SDK. Offer comprehensive guidance tailored to their specific needs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical inquiries both internal and external, overseeing seamless technical coordination.
• Continuously refine and optimize the SDK for smooth integration into games, prioritizing user experience.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and sample projects.
• Conduct thorough testing of the SDK on new OS versions and game engine updates to proactively identify and resolve technical issues.
• Translate user feedback into actionable features for backlog prioritization.
• Provide guidance and support to part-time team members and interns, ensuring effective communication and task delegation without direct managerial responsibilities.
• Coordinate closely with the Operations and Special Projects Manager to plan and execute releases, ensuring seamless implementation in collaboration with the rest of the tech team.
• Explore new technical avenues to enhance partnerships and streamline user experience.
• Manage the development of the Unleashd app, ensuring it meets high standards of performance and usability.
• Optimize our Developer Portal to provide an outstanding user experience for our partners.
• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of our website.
• Oversee the setup and management of the Google Play Store and Apple App Store presence for our products.

About You:

• Enthusiastic about driving all facets of technical development.
• Willing to take ownership of both major and minor tasks, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Adept communicator, serving as the primary liaison for all technical inquiries.
• Demonstrated ability to support and collaborate with junior tech team members, fostering a cohesive team dynamic.
• Passionate about technology and its applications across various domains.
• An interest in streamlining processes for optimal efficiency.

Must-have qualifications:

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, particularly in external communication.
• Proficient generalist programmer.
• Extensive experience with Unity.
• Familiarity with mobile game development, including building, debugging and profiling.
• Knowledge of AWS.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Familiarity with native Android development.

• Experience with XCode, Swift, and iOS game development.
• Proficiency in Python, NodeJS, or Java programming.
• Background in backend and database development.
