The role

Genmab is expanding our Infrastructure team and seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will be working closely with the Senior Manager and Team Lead.

This position is hybrid and you are expected to be 60% onsite in the HQ in Valby.

The Infrastructure Engineer provides support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Services and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, including Hyper-V, Clusters and SAN solutions. Resolves and appropriately completes assigned cases and change requests and acts as an escalation for support issues. Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with team and resolves course of action for new application initiatives. Implements new software solutions as required by the business. The core infrastructure technology duties include enterprise Microsoft services, architecture creation and management, global system security and policy configuration, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives, on-prem and in our 2 datacenters.

This is an opportunity to develop and manage the architecture for the future infrastructure setup at Genmab.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain our on-prem infrastructure, including servers, storage, commvault backup, and network devices.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability of our infrastructure.
  • Monitor, fix, and resolve any issues or incidents related to our infrastructure.
  • Implement and carry out best practices, policies, and standards for our infrastructure.
  • Document and update our infrastructure architecture, configuration, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to our internal and external users and clients.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions that can improve our infrastructure and business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, administration, or support, preferably in the biotech or pharma industry.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in compute, Hyper-V virtualization, storage, and commvault backup technologies.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS and SCVMM.
  • Experience with network devices and protocols, such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, and VLAN.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, is a plus.
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools, such as PowerShell, Python, or Ansible, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management.
  • Experience working in a GxP regulated environment and following quality standards and procedures is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Superb communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
