The position
By joining our team in Exploration & Production Norway you will have the opportunity to:
- Join Equinor’s rotating machinery discipline to provide technical support for the operation & maintenance of gas turbines.
- Provide support on challenging mechanical tasks, operational disturbances, and risk assessment of developing faults.
- Work with identifying, and evaluating possible technical improvements, follow-up of maintenance and support for modifications.
- Ensure integrity of gas turbines on our operating facilities.
- Contribute to efficient implementation of operational projects through close follow-up of Maintenance and Modification contractors.
In this position, you will work as part of the rotating machinery discipline, part of Equinor's global organization for operational technology. Our core task is technical support for the operation and maintenance of rotating equipment to ensure safety, cost-effectiveness, reliability and minimizing negative impact on the environment.

- Bachelor`s or Master`s degree within Mechanical Engineering, alongside broad experience of working with gas turbines.
- A broad multidiscipline and interface understanding.
- Good written and oral communication skills, both in English and Norwegian - or other Scandinavian languages.
- An interest in working systematically, finding practical solutions, and developing yourself and your colleagues.
- A solution orientated and collaborative mindset.
