Are you comfortable working in a team to deliver incremental changes to the business on existing applications and creating new applications from scratch with the end-users? Do you value a flexible working environment with the opportunity to work from any location most days a week? If so, you might be our new developer for our IT Custom Solution team.

About the job
At Orifarm, you will be part of a professional, international, and flexible environment. You will collaborate with end-users and business and process owners to optimize their work by delivering bespoke software solutions. We require that you be physically present at our office in Odense 2-3 days a week, but you have the flexibility to work from home the other days.

You will be placed in the IT Custom Solution team, where we are responsible for delivering software solutions to all departments in the whole Orifarm organization across Europe. Our goal is to continuously deliver changes to the existing setup while also creating new applications when needed or when existing applications become obsolete.

We work with a mix of technologies where some are state-of-the-art, like Blazor, Azure DevOps, .Net, and EF core, but also some more legacy options like WPF, WinForms, and SQL. The solutions we create are based on the right tool for the job methodology, so we are open to all new technologies that can increase the quality of the solutions we build or improve the daily process of maintaining an extensive application portfolio that has undergone development in the last 14 years.

The solutions we develop for the business supports a lot of different processes, among these are:

• Registration Management for handling all approvals for products going to the markets
• Quality Feedback for storing all product feedback from consumers
• Several Cockpits for sales, purchase, and research for fast overview and interactions
• Business tools for finding new exciting products to import OR start producing ourselves
• Integrations to third-party solutions

Who are you?
Besides programming epic solutions, you appreciate informal contact with the business to debate new functionality and discover new use cases. You also work with more simple change requests directly from the business that just needs to be done to keep the company growing.

In the long term, you will employ a holistic view of the application portfolio to ensure future solutions and changes are made not only with the right tool but also in the right system and process. You communicate fluently in Danish and English, both written and orally, as those are the company languages.

Last but not least, you can tick off all of the following points:

• You have a relevant educational background, e.g., a Bachelor’s degree, from which you have acquired programming techniques
• You have a minimum five years of experience in development and designing applications for enterprise use
• You are expected to learn about .Net and SQL databases. Ideally, you have also worked with WinForms, WPF, and ORMs.

We are a growing team currently consisting of 4 full stack developers. Our primary focus is developing and maintaining solutions the business uses for their daily work. We are part of a large IT organization of 90+ people, including Divisions specialized in Solutions, Data, Business Engagement & IT Compliance, and IT Operations & Support. We work across teams in the day-to-day work as we all strive to deliver the optimal solutions in a joint effort.

As a pharmaceutical company, we have to live up to Gamp5 and GxP rules, document our changes accordingly, and follow set processes to ensure the quality of our systems is sufficient.

Job Location
We meet physically 2-3 times per week at HQ in Odense, but if there are meetings on other days, you will need to prioritize those as well. Rest can be taken from home.
