About the Role: As an Enterprise Data Architect at GlobalConnect, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our data management and integration across the organization. You will evaluate and optimize existing systems, ensuring high-quality data governance and seamless integration to support business processes.You’ll define the organization's data vision and put it into practice.

What You Will Do: In this role, you will spend your days analyzing current systems, identifying and resolving data-related issues, and developing and implementing data strategies that are in line with business processes. The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, and data integration and management. You will document and communicate data architecture processes, collaborate with colleagues and external vendors, and support business units in data-related decisions. A normal day involves reviewing reports, attending team stand-ups, working on data quality projects, and developing solutions to improve our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Analysis: Evaluate existing systems and identify data-related problems.
• Data Management Optimization: Develop and implement strategies for data integration and quality improvement to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Documentation and Communication: Create comprehensive documentation and communicate complex data concepts to stakeholders.
• Business requirement: Translate business requirements into databases, data warehouse and data streams.
• Data Analysis: Analysing, planning and define data architecture framework, including security, reference data, metadata, and master data
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and external vendors to ensure effective data handling.

To Succeed We Think You Need:

• Master Data Management: Experience with enterprise-level master data management, including data governance and quality. Used to working with data mining to uncover pattens, anomalies and correlations in large data sets.
• Data Analysis and Processing: Comprehensive skills in data analysis, processing, and visualization using tools like Excel and SQL.
• Scripting and Programming: Competence in scripting and programming (e.g., Python or SQL) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
• Documentation and Communication: Ability to document complex data processes and communicate technical information clearly in English.
• Data modelling: Using tools like Erwin, Visio or similar, to visualise metadata and database schema.
