Our team consists of currently 3 bakers and 6 laboratory technicians. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build up new skills and work in a dynamic international organization.
Welcome to Novonesis Application Research in Baking
You will be part of a department consisting of scientists, laboratory technicians and bakers. Your role will be to work closely with a passionate group of colleagues to create the next innovative biosolution for our global baking partners.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
You will be responsible for preparing, conducting and documenting baking experiments in close collaboration with one or more research scientists.
Your tasks include testing new enzyme solutions in baked goods (primarily bread, cakes and biscuits), optimization and development of industry-relevant test systems, evaluation of raw materials and analysis of dough and baked goods.
To succeed you must hold:
- Finished education as baker)
- Practical experience within product development in the food industry or ingredient business would be an advantage.
- Experience withing sourdough breads, cakes and/or pastries will be an advantage.
- Ability to work in a structured and organized way.
- An open minded and positive attitude and a wish to achieve results together with others as well as working independently.
- Skills in Microsoft Office and interest in data analysis and digital tools.
- Be fluent in English both written and spoken.
- Desire to learn new things and take ownership.
- Be proactive, passionate, and flexible and work as part of a team
