An exciting analytical role with a focus on forecasting and algorithmic trading
As our Senior Algorithmic Trader, you will play a pivotal role in developing and refining fundamental models. You'll lead the creation and enhancement of systematic trading strategies, collaborating closely with key stakeholders. We will entrust you with significant autonomous responsibilities, positioning you as our expert in Algorithmic Trading. You'll receive support from your technical colleagues, allowing you to concentrate on what brings the most value: quantitative modeling, data analysis, and collaborative work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and upholding fundamental and quantitative models.
• Performing back-testing on trading strategies to evaluate their efficacy.
• Refining and enhancing trading strategies to maximize portfolio performance.
• Automating critical trading processes for efficiency.

In addition to working closely with internal colleagues, you'll actively engage with other algorithmic trading teams and our experienced discretionary trading desks, swiftly building relationships and expanding your network throughout the organization. Strong quantitative skill set and a solid understanding of energy markets
You possess great quantitative skills and a strong interest in the energy market. You thrive in a role where you can develop your responsibilities and shape your tasks moving forward. You are naturally motivated, work independently, and take great responsibility for your tasks. You have an innate focus on details and strive for the highest possible quality. Furthermore, we imagine that you:

• Have hands-on experience in power trading or a similar field
• Are proficient in quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, and systematic trading strategies.
• Have experience developing/coding algorithms that have performed on Epex and thus made trades
• Are keen to understand energy markets and their dynamics.
• Possess a curious mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
• Are a team player with effective communication skills.
