Do you want to work on exciting projects for the biggest German Car Brands? If you are well organized, open minded and good in communication then this job is probably for you.
Reporting to Sales Manager Automotive, you will be responsible for your own projects during the offer phase until the order intake and hand over to the launch manager. Projects can vary in size and be both entire projects or as part of larger customer projects.
Your sales colleagues in the "field" will typically do the initial sales processes, after that, the project "lands" in Tønder. Here, you will be responsible for the team that will take care of the product customization and optimization, calculations and the final price calculation for the customer, of course in close interaction and dialogue with the customer and colleagues in the organization.
You do not get an actual management responsibility or individual sales budget, but are a success when you and your colleagues deliver well-prepared offers adapted to the specific customer wishes in the right quality and within the given deadline. You will be part of a highly professional and competent sales organization that is used to working team- and project-based, and where you throughout the project, which can extend over several months, sparring and collaborating on a daily basis. Furthermore, you will be responsible to maintain our internal sales systems and you will be part of the desk sales team.
You like structure and planning and maintain an overview of a project, even if it can be lengthy and meet challenges along the way. You regularly participate in meetings with customers and customer manager colleagues and are able to communicate clearly and precisely. At the same time, you act customer- and solution-oriented with a good sense of what is possible and what is not possible.
You have project management experience, preferably from an order-producing company with long-term project processes. You will also have experience with cost calculations and quotations/price calculations and the ongoing dialogue with customers and colleagues.
You probably have a technical education as an engineer, production technologist or marine engineer and have a certain technical flair, if you are not already familiar with the machinery or metal industry. You have a good understanding of the system and therefore work efficiently with CRM and the MS Office suite.
As a person you are robust, communicative and relationship-building. You are outgoing, have impact and are good at creating an overview and structure in all phases of a project. You are able to make demands on your surroundings and follow up so that quality is delivered, goals and levels.
You are fluent in German and English – both written and spoken – and your workplace will be located in our production plant in Tønder.
