As a Depositary we have a regulatory duty to protect the Investors in regulated investment funds. In SEB our mission is to provide this investor protection with highest expertise, experience, and excellence. We offer Depositary Services under the AIFMD and UCITS regulation and service a wide range of investment fund types covering both traditional assets and alternative investments.

SEB Depositary Services is part of our Investor Service offering under the Large Corporates & Financial Institutions segment. We are experiencing growth, and our Depositary Services in Denmark is key in our efforts to continue our exciting journey. We are therefore looking for a Junior Analyst (student) to our team in Copenhagen.

About the job
At SEB Depositary Services you will assist your senior colleagues in exercising our depositary control duties. In this role you will build knowledge of fund management companies, investment strategies, fund structures and asset types covering both financial instruments and alternative investments.

You will be positioned to a broad range of responsibilities:

· You will assist in performing a number of regulatory controls

· Assist in performing risk assessments

· Assist in Due diligence processes

· Assist in managing activity related to fund cycle management

· Ad Hoc analysis, research, and tasks

Who are you?
Ideally, but not a pre-requisite, you are studying economics, finance or business law. Further, you are a 3rd year bachelor student or a 1st year master student. You are excellent in Danish as well as English, both written and orally. You are strong user of excel.

You are someone who likes the idea of working in the sphere of finance and regulation. You would like to use your analytical skills to deep dive into complex financial and regulatory issues. You are structured and take pride in delivering quality in everything you do. You have a good understanding of financial instruments and financial markets. You are a team player and will always help the team meets its regulatory duties.

Finally, we expect you to:

· Be ambitious, dedicated, and outgoing with a genuine interest in the Fund Industry

· Have a strong level of analytical skills

· Be willing to learn and constantly develop your skill set

· Work in a methodical and structured way with a focus on quality, details and deadlines
