Senior Structural Engineer

Your position
In your onshore position as Senior Structural Engineer in the Consulting Services team you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team whose mission is to support our clients to achieve success in their energy projects within energy infrastructure in oil & gas.

Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or at one of our locations in Copenhagen, Poland or UK.

The position is full-time and 10 - 50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

The set-up
You will be hired as a Semco Maritime employee and work in a team dedicated to one of our national or international customers.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Senior Structural Engineer your tasks and responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

• Create structure job cards in MIPS for prefabrication and installation and participate in weekly EPCI meetings.
• Keep track of which job cards should be prioritized and help with input such as job descriptions, KREA, Promise plans, 3D Plot.
• Have a close dialogue with Method to get input on conditions that must be considered during installation, as well as a close dialogue with the design group.

The tasks will depend on the specific client's needs.

Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer who is passionate about creating structure for job cards and wants to leave their personal mark on the tasks. You have a proactive and organised approach to your work and are eager to contribute to our clients and your team's success.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Structural engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience within oil & gas industry.
• Can work independently in MIPS for structure.
• Must master Navisworks.
• Verbal and written Norwegian skills on a professional level.
• Knowledge of MIPS and TIME.
• Good communication skills.
• The applicant must have good knowledge of prefabrication and installation of structure.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills at a professional level.
