Student Assistant, Corporate Compliance, Data Privacy Team

The role
As a student assistant in Corporate Compliance you will help the Data Privacy team further strengthening our global data privacy efforts through effective project management. In this job you will get a chance to make a real impact in a busy but fun Compliance team, where your ideas and drive will be highly valued.

You will join a team of 7 dedicated colleagues, working within Compliance, Risk Management or ESG, and report directly to our Senior Director Data Privacy.

As a member of our global team, you will work with highly skilled and passionate colleagues to advance our exciting product pipeline.

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting various data privacy optimization projects, e.g., keeping our records of processing and risk assessments up to date
• Mapping dataflows and preparing and updating Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs)
• Optimizing data privacy processes internally in Corporate Compliance as well as ensuring collaboration between other stakeholders within Ascendis Pharma
• Supporting and assisting Corporate Compliance with ad hoc tasks

Your professional qualifications
Whether you are in your second or third year, or even at your Master Level, studying law, business administration or maybe an IT or AI related degree, is not important as long as you have a strong compliance mindset and knowledge of as well as an interest in data privacy.

You are proficient in English at a professional level, both written and spoken.

Furthermore, you have:

• Excellent project management skills
• Perhaps some practical IT experience, e.g., from an IT security or AI perspective
• Good communication skills
• Excellent working knowledge of MS products

As a person, you are a highly motivated individual who enjoys being challenged and working in a collaborative environment.

Furthermore, you:

• Have a can-do attitude
• A sense of humor
• Are known to be a strong finisher who can meet deadlines
• Able to keep an overview of many tasks at once and persevere until all are completed
• Hours: two days per week, approx. 10 hours in total.

Travel: 0 days per year.
