YOUR MISSION & RESPONSIBILITIES AHEAD OF YOU
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team on a maternity cover in our ongoing efforts to help drive the future global growth and steering of GANNI towards our business objectives.
The duration of the maternity cover will be from the 1st of July 2024 (or as soon as possible) until the 31st of March 2025, with the possibility to extend if both parties agree.

You will be a part of a fast-growing, global brand on a mission to hack the fashion system. As a Finance Business Partner to our retail business, you will have the opportunity to get a full 360-degree understanding of the fundamentals of the fashion retail business – from support on business case modeling on potential new stores to controlling CAPEX spending on new store developments and refurbishments to following up on actual top-line performance and cost management of our store portfolio.

Together with the rest of the Business Analytics team, you will act as a trusted advisor to the organization. You will be working at our head office in central Copenhagen and will be part of a team with strong ties to the CFO and budget holders across regions, channels, and functions.

​​Our ambition is to drive commercial and financial performance by turning data into actionable insights, ensuring transparency and awareness of performance across the entire organization. Through your work, you will have the opportunity to drive and contribute on:

• The ongoing performance management of our global DtC business, from daily performance to understanding of weekly and monthly performance and the underlying KPI development driving the performance of the business
• The monthly control of our global retail business. From top-line performance and all the way down to earnings by analyzing and understanding variances against our cost budgets.
• The forecasting process for our global retail business, helping the team in modelling out expected future top-line performance as well as cost structure.
• The development of business cases for new potential store openings incl. projections on potential future performance, cost structure and CAPEX requirements
• The opportunity to support the HQ organization on forecasting and controlling of HQ spent, including supporting our Brand organization on their mission to elevate the GANNI brand as a mainstay in the progressive luxury space

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS

• MSc Economics (cand. merc, cand.oecon. or similar), diploma in business administration (HD-R) or similar background.
• Hands-on experience working with accounting, finance, management reporting, forecasting, and planning.
• Expert user of Excel including experience with analyses and complex modeling – both financial and commercial. Experience with Google Sheets is a plus.
• Experience working with ERP systems and general ledger accounting is a plus
• Experience from the fashion industry and/or related experience from other industries such as FMCG or similar is a plus.
