As our Senior Business Improvement Specialist, you have a critical role to ensure easy access to valuable insights that enables the organization to identify product and service quality issues to the benefit of our customers .

The team you will be part of
At our global HQ, located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will be part of our Quality Methods & Data Analytics team and report to the area Director, Martin Bonefeld.

Overall, the team is responsible for enabling the organization to improve the quality of products and services in the GN Group through creation of valuable insights, drive/support high impact investigations and build capabilities that enables us to become predictive in the approach to improve customer satisfaction.

We are on a global product quality transformative journey throughout the GN Group. As we embrace this new future, there is a growing need for transparency based on valid insights to secure the feedback loop from customers and a need to develop and anchor of six sigma capabilities to secure improvement of quality.

Your primary responsibilities are enabling and managing key strategic initiatives to secure the quality transformation with a focused data approach and customer centric mindset. You will collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders, such as Global Quality, R&D, Global Operations, Sales, Finance, IT and Product Management.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

  • Secure governance around data input, quality targets, KPI´s and Measurements.
  • Strengthen and transform data into insights.
  • Deliver insights and analytics to the quality organization and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the GN Group to improve customer satisfaction and profitability using insights, analytics, defined quality methods and Six Sigma.
  • Identifying high-leverage opportunities for quality improvements and ensuring opportunities are brought to the strategic decision forums.
  • Train and mentor quality leaders at various positions in their application of six sigma tools, methodology and principles.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have

  • A higher educational background in Engineering, Physics, or other relevant fields of study.
  • Strong experience in transforming data into insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Project management and/or team manager experience by which you can manage, motivate, and train cross functional teams to deliver significant results.
  • Developing and implementing business intelligence solutions through cross-functional co-operation.
  • A Six Sigma certification at at min. GB level
  • Strong experience and a solid track record of improving and developing processes using a structured approach e.g. through Six Sigma.
  • Creating tailored training programs and delivering training to colleagues in an efficient way that secures anchoring all the way through.
  • Expertise in MS Power BI- as a Superuser- for identifying, connecting, and combining relevant data sources and creating advanced visualizations empowering objective decision making.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and experience in identifying root causes using statistical methods and software – incl. capability studies, hypothesis testing, predictions, and reliability studies.
  • Hands-on experience with AI, Process Mining, and exploring new opportunities using available data.
  • Solid experience in performance-, and stakeholder management, with excellent communication skills in verbal & written English.

Preferred experience, but not prerequisites for the position:

  • Experience with FDA class 1A and 2A.
  • Minitab.

You should also expect to travel approximately 20 days per year visiting our local offices around the globe with in the GN Group. This will of course be possible to plan ahead.
