We are looking for the next generation of leaders with an interest for the payments, digital services and regulatory area , to join the Legal department of the largest bank in the Nordics. You’ll be leading a team of highly skilled lawyers supporting Nordea’s Transaction Banking unit.

Transaction Banking (TxB) is part of Business Banking and, with a team of around 800 people, TxB provides services to household and corporate customers across the Nordics. TxB’s services include cash management, cards, mobile payments and trade finance solutions. About this opportunity

Welcome to the Business Banking Legal team in Group Legal. We add value by providing legal solutions to Business Banking related to customers, products and services as well as new regulations. As leader, you will play a valuable role in helping Nordea, TxB and our customers in achieving their goals.

What you’ll be doing:

• People Leader: Grow and develop team members, improve the way of working to ensure high quality and effectiveness, take active part in a passionate leadership team who works closely together to develop our services
• Legal & strategic advisory: Support the leadership in TxB and other stakeholders by providing professional legal advice
• Legal risk management: Manage legal risks proactively and develop the legal risk management framework
• Project management: Lead legal workstreams in projects like product developments and regulatory implementations, as well as develop your employees’ project management skills

Our TxB Legal team is located in Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway and the leader we are now looking for can be located in any of these Nordic countries.

Your experience and background:

• A Master of Law degree
• Experience and a good understanding of a wide scope of TxB Legal matters, such as payment products and digital services, and related EU regulatory framework
• Regulatory competence within areas such as Financial Crime, Cyber Security, Resilience and Competition Law is an advantage
• Business understanding
• Excellent language skills in English
