Senior Support Services Officer (Partner Finance Monitoring)

Under the supervision of the Support Services Coordinator, the Senior Support Services Officer will assist in support partners and project managers on donor support services compliance requirements, including budgeting and reporting, and ensure deadlines and requirements are met.
Main responsibilities:
- Participation in the Partner Financial Assessment.
- Provide support to partners and budget holders to prepare project budgets and monitoring issues.
- In coordinating with programme department review cooperation agreement on the implementation of programmes with partners.
- Prepare budget overview for the projects.
- Assistance in the preparation to the Kick-off meetings with partners from Support Services side (Finance, procurement, logistics, HR, admin).
- Work with partners and project team to ensure relevant donor requirements are effectively communicated and understood.
- Receive monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, forecasts from partners and analyse them.
- Analise the budget/actual (BvA) partners financial reports.
- Assist in verification of all supporting payment documents from partners confirming payment for projects and compliance with DCA procedures.
- Review of the budget and all supporting documents for the provision of grant funds (GCT) to NGOs.
- Assist in Partner’s support related queries.
- Identifying partners support department capacity gaps.
- Contributing on donor compliance specific training/capacity building to partners as required and identified in assessment.
- Organise support related trainings to the partners.
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager
Requirements
- Master’s Degree (Finance, Economics, Accounting) with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in NGO sector will be an advantage.
- Understanding of Ukrainian legislation.
- Ukrainian language – Fluency.
- English language – at least Intermediate.
- Good communication skills (verbal & written).
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to analyse data.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Work related travels are expected in this position.
