Join expanding NKT Karlskrona
Our site in Karlskrona is expanding heavily and now we are looking for a Technical Sales Manager. This position is essential for collecting, systematizing and organizing technical input across projects, functions and departments with the aim of optimizing the sales process.

The position
In this role you will be serving as the primary expert and technical advisor for the Service product portfolio, including cable systems (XLPE and MI), accessories, installation, repairs and service agreements. You will collaborate with sales teams to provide technical input and cost analysis for offshore and onshore tender work. You will also support Product Management by contributing relevant insights to product development projects.

Besides the above your primary tasks will be:

  • Secure that we have the correct technical competence and resources available to execute project if sold.
  • Provide method descriptions, time schedule and other technical documents required for tender submission.
  • Participate in subcontractor meetings and negotiations as technical expert
  • Investigation and resolution of technical queries of internal and external stakeholders through own expertise and involvement of experts from other departments and BLs
  • Provides training for tender team on technical matters
  • Continuously improve process and methods of working throw Continues Improvement and Lessons Learned process

If you can add offshore knowledge to your background, it is highly qualifying. Working in a structured way and being supportive to your colleagues comes natural to you. The work is conducted mainly at our office in Karlskrona but around 5-10 travels/year is to be expected.

Additionally, your CV includes:

  • BSc degree preferably within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • At least five years’ technical experience (preferably hands on) from the high voltage cable industry
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Swedish
