Accounts Payable Accountant/ Senior Accountant with Spanish

ALK is on an ambitious journey to become the preferred allergy company globally. Traditionally, ALK has been a strongly marketing and process driven organization. With a rapidly changing healthcare environment, subsequently leading to increased dynamics within global marketing, there is a need to be more closely linked to the local customer needs and allergy markets. In order to do so, we are looking for a new colleague to join our Accounts Payable Team in European Accounting Center, a part of ALK GBSC in Poland.

While working at this role, you will be responsible for:

• PO and Non-PO Invoice processing and codding
• Payments preparation and processing in SAP and on the bank
• Open items management on trade and GR/IR accounts
• Solve queries with vendors and local finance team
• Master Cards administration and reconciliation
• Invoice flow and Release Tables maintenance
• Month End and Year End tasks according to MEC/YEC calendar
• Prepare Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation according to the checklist
• Perform Internal Controls and support Audit requests
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation
• Involvement in Continuous improvement/Standardization/other projects

Requirements:

• Previous experience working for SSC
• SAP knowledge
• Very good Polish and English skills (written and spoken)
• Good Spanish skills (written and spoken)
• Open and direct communication; you’re not afraid to throw out an idea or challenge an existing one
• Analytical skills and problem-solving approach
• Attention to details and high level of accuracy
• Well organized, meticulous
• Focused on customers’ needs and satisfaction
• Honest, trustworthy, and respectful
• Bachelor, Master or equivalent education, preferably in accounting or finance area would be an asset but is not required
