Machine Learning Engineer

Join our team as an ML Engineer within R&D at GN, where you will have the opportunity to work with AI/ML technologies from development to production.

In this role within the R&D Insights & ML Team, you will play a key part in establishing a world-class team competency in AI/ML. If you have experience with time-series analysis, predictive modelling, 3D modelling, or biosensing projects we would love to hear from you. Your experience with Generative AI and LLMs will also be highly valued.

This position offers a dynamic and collaborative work environment, where you will engage with team members to tackle open-ended problems that require innovative solutions. You will also benefit from a multi-disciplinary approach, interacting with IT, global operations, sales and marketing, and product development teams to drive impactful projects. Your written and verbal communication skills will be essential.

The Team You Will be Part of
You will be working in the Research and Technology organization in the Insights & Machine Learning group. This is team is responsible for the managing and working with large tabular datasets as well as unstructured datasets, developing novel AI/ML cloud-based solutions to improve internal processes and provide differentiated value in our solutions.

You will be working from our HQ in Ballerup.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Have responsibility for creating and monitoring cloud-based AI/ML models that improve internal processes and differentiate our products and our company.
• Find innovative ways to improve internal R&D processes and operations processes through AI technologies.
• Work with a variety of tasks through structured and unstructured datasets and apply varies technologies ranging from more traditional machine learning to advanced neural networks and modern LLMs Gen. AI.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have

• Master’s in computer science or engineering with at least 2 years work experience with AI/ML.
• Understand how to build and maintain datasets for production AI/ML models.
• Experience building supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, experience with LLMs, 3D modelling, or biosensors is a plus.
• A flare for creativity and an ability to test and visualize model output through tools such as Power BI.
