The position
As our new Project Manager, you will assist in executing on a major IT and engineering investment project, collaborating closely with Senior Project Managers at each site and line of business stakeholders as well as contribute to strategic IT decisions, scoping, and project execution. In addition to that, you will:

• Participate in vendor selection, RFP processes, and oversee the implementation of AI-powered software solutions across multiple sites.
• Work closely together with a hybrid team composed of the Senior Project Manager of the digital track, internal IT colleagues, external consultants and subject matter experts across multiple fields: IT security, operations, data, energy.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, alongside with communicating project progress and milestones effectively.
• Develop and manage project budgets, as well as identify and address potential risks, ensuring project success.
• Implement quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the team, as well as prepare regular project status reports, maintain documentation, and align activities with the environmental impact strategy.

Qualifications

Preferably you hold a master’s degree in IT, engineering or related fields, with 3-5 years of proven experience in project management and can demonstrate solid results in delivering IT or engineering projects successfully.

Furthermore, we expect you to have:

• Entrepreneurial problem-solving skills with a structured approach in navigating high complexity.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrate skilled problem-solving abilities with a structured and skilled approach, particularly in navigating high complexity.
• Showcase the ability to self-motivate and inspire your project team to achieve collective goals.
• Possess leadership skills and a track record in project management. Experience in energy design, energy infrastructure, or utility installations is advantageous.
• Fluency in spoken and written English, and Danish is a plus.

As an individual with a can-do attitude, you work systematically, logically, proactively, and are self-driven, structured, robust and capable of handling a high-paced and complex work environment without losing oversight and motivation.

The job is anchored in the team “Sustainable Utility Projects”, which is part of Corporate Facilities. We manage a large portfolio of sustainability projects at multiple impact and maturity levels, some spanning the entire organization. We drive execution all the way from basic design to handover and work systematically and strategically to implement ‘Circular for Zero’ initiatives within the areas of energy supplies, utility installations and facility management in general. We collaborate across business areas of Novo Nordisk and with external partners including consultants and contractors.
