The position
In this exciting opportunity you will be a part of the UX Product Supply team. We are looking for two UX/UI designers to support our product teams. As maternity covers the positions are time-limited but with the possibility to prolong.

We are searching for designers that want to grow and mature our practices and understand how their collaboration and contribution is intertwined with their product (team) and continue to find better ways of delivering value. The UX Product Supply team are currently based in Novo Nordisk new Tech Campus in Ballerup, Denmark, but you will spend most of your time with your product team, which can be located in various Novo Nordisk locations among greater Copenhagen.

Your daily work will be in an established product team, where the team drive the entire product process from idea to decommission including product discovery, strategy, portfolio mindset, operations and prioritization. As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will be central in all phases of our design work and contribute to establishing good processes and workflows.

Additionally, some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Conducting studies of user-needs and business objectives, where you will be leading activities of user-research, wire-framing, writing user-stories, mapping user-journeys and workflows.
  • Contribute to value-proposition and roadmaps.
  • Turning insights into easy-to-use solutions, such as high-level conceptual sketches and interactive prototypes.
  • Being a part of building and designing the product, as well as monitoring and improving on the product.
  • Working closely with several internal and external stakeholders, while promoting efficient collaboration with colleagues.

Which competencies to bring
To be successful in the role, we imagine that you will be able to tick most of the following qualifications:

  • Relevant master’s degree within the fields of user experience, digital design, techno-anthropology, communication and IT, information systems, or another relevant field.
  • Strong experience with UX methodologies such as: design thinking, the double diamond model, creative thinking, problem solving and the application of User Centered Design (UCD).
  • Proficiency in interface design, experience with design systems and CVI application as well as an awareness/curiosity towards trends in user interface design.
  • Experience with prototyping and design tools such as Figma.
  • Confident in planning and facilitating workshops offline as well as online, using tools such as Miro and FigJam.
  • Demonstrable experience collaborating in agile project teams with software developers, scrum masters, product owners etc.
  • Be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders across the organization.
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently and across multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to navigate in a large and complex organization.

The team waiting for you
The position is in the Digital Accelerator, a fast-moving and highly skilled department helping Novo Nordisk in green field software development. We are currently 150+ people, with 35 experienced UX colleagues. We are 18 nationalities and support diversity in all aspects. We are an interdisciplinary team with a focus on achieving great results but doing so while having a great time together. We all share the passion for ensuring a motivating and inspiring work environment. For this position you will be part of the UX Product Supply unit. We are a team of 14 UX researchers and UX / UI designers. We design digital solutions for internal use, specifically for our colleagues within product supply. Our focus is on creating pleasant and efficient internal processes supported by digital solutions, which we believe is a crucial foundation for delivering value to patients around the world.
