Senior Consultant with an interest in optimizing Master Data

Our main tasks and products
Master Data serves as a critical foundation for all our business operations across organizational units, formats and countries. Our purpose in the IT-MasterData team is to continuously maintain and develop a harmonized, mature and stabile system backbone to ensure that both critical IT- & business processes run effectively.
On our journey, we balance between operational stability on one side and exploration/innovation on the other side. We seek a leading-edge product portfolio and strive to have the best setup to support and streamline vendor-, site- and full article lifecycle management.
Our primary system responsibility currently covers SAP ERP, STEP PIM, Cloudinary DAM, but also other surrounding applications.

Our IT solutions are used daily by 32,000 employees. And we put a great pride in managing a strong platform which secures stabile, high-quality content & master data to our online partners, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Your area of responsibility will go across the entire project cycle, such as planning, stakeholder management, analysis, workshop/meeting facilitation, translation of business requirements, design, testing, documentation, go-live preparation, training, etc. - Your exact tasks depend on your skills and will most likely also vary over the years.
• You will engage and interact with various stakeholders in the organization (internally within IT and externally in the business, especially the commercial organization and across our different formats & countries).
• We are right now in the process of upgrading to SAP S/4 and you will be an important part in that journey securing that our Master Data processes are compliant with the upgrade to S4

Our new colleague
You have a business-oriented mindset, you think IT and Retail is fun, and you are excited about how IT can enable new functionality and processes. You might have previous experience in working with Master Data processes and understand their importance, but what is essential, is your capacity to learn and develop. Beside of that we also expect that:

• You have a deep knowledge of SAP Master Data processes is an advantage but is not a requirement.
• Your approach to tasks is structured with a keen eye on details and quality.
• You like change and thrive in a dynamic environment and you strive to improve, are result oriented and work well within a team. Retail experience, analytical mindset and a master’s degree will be an advantage.
• You are a strong communicator and the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders is highly important, as our stakeholders are diverse.
• You should have a ‘self-starter attitude’ and can independently focus, see opportunities, and invite yourself to the table.
• You are fluent English, both in writing and speaking, is a requirement.

We work in a SCRUM based setup, hence some understanding of agile methodologies is ideal and a strong team player is a prerequisite.
