Head of IT (Anonymous Client)

The Role:

As the Head of IT, you will lead and drive the IT transformation, ensuring successful integration of new colleagues and overseeing all aspects of the IT function. From day-to-day operations to long-term technology and infrastructure strategy, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future IT landscape of our client's organization.

Your Team:

You will lead a dedicated IT department comprising 10 colleagues located in Denmark, Poland, Portugal and Germany. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure IT strategies and solutions effectively support business operations and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a multinational IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Work closely with the IT team to develop and implement IT strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiate contracts, and evaluate third-party solutions.
• Establish and maintain governance, cybersecurity measures, and compliance standards.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, allocating resources effectively to support operations and strategic initiatives.
• Lead change management efforts related to IT projects, ensuring effective communication, training, and support.
• Collaborate with departments and business units to align IT strategies with business needs.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as Head of IT or in a similar leadership role in IT management.
• A strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Broad knowledge across technology areas, including infrastructure, cloud computing, networking, security, and systems administration.
• Expertise in data architecture, data governance, and data management.
• In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in data analytics.
• Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to technology.
• Solid leadership and people management skills with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels and locations.
• Experience in the renewables sector is advantageous.
