Why this role is important to us
The main purpose of this role is to drive strategic, complex, highly competitive and innovative Services engagement commercials deals for both prospects and existing customers across the entire value chain that SimCorp offers: PS (Professional Services), Application Services, Platform & SaaS as well as BPaaS (Business Process as a Service) just to name a few.

This is a global role that will collaborate with our local/regional Sales and Presales teams to ensure that we maximize the outcome value created for our clients as part of our offerings. You will report directly into the Global Head of Professional Services.

What you will be responsible for
For strategic deals, taking a leadership role in

  • Mobilizing the Client Services A-team, orchestrated by the Service Engagement Director in charge (PS, SaaS innovation, SaaS Operations, including external partners)
  • Aligning energies from the different parties involved outside Client Services: Land/Customer Success Management, Sales specialist (Cloud, BPaaS), Presales, GTM (Go-to-Market), Offer Line Managers, Global Sales until contract closure and handover
  • Supporting developing the winning strategy, coaching the field team, driving the negotiations and customer closure
  • Governance with SimCorp C-level sponsoring strategic opportunities
  • Once closed, handing over to PS, SaaS Operations and BPaaS

Growing the new Services Strategic Engagement (SSE) team

  • Regional Service Engagement Directors reporting in dotted line to you
  • Building the services sales excellence operating model from opportunity identification to contract closure and handover to PS, SaaS Operations and BPaaS
  • Supporting the growth of the SSE team, attracting Service Engagement Director talents, team animation

Ensuring internal alignment at all times

  • Aligning with Cloud and BPaaS commercials teams to ensure “one SimCorp face to the client”
  • Contributing to the definition of new service offers, pricing models, triggered by strategic deals definition. Co-operation with GTM, SaaS Innovation, SaaS Operations, Consulting, PS, Offer lines, Service Portfolio Management

Actively participating in the Professional Services Leadership Team

  • Working hand in hand with regional Head of PS, Delivery Excellence, Value Services, Advanced Delivery Center
  • Running the Services bid management process and deal reviews for all Services deals in conjunction or collaboration with stakeholders
  • Driving order intake forecast and walk to target with the regional Head of PS, Sales and Customer Success Management
  • Providing input into the Commercial Leadership Team via the Head of PS
  • Job KPIs to be defined: mix of Scorecard and order intake achievement for strategic deals
