With direct reference to our Head of Group Accounting, you will manage a dedicated team consisting of two Team Coordinators and eight Accounting Assistants, that handles operational tasks within AR, AP, travel, and general ledger at our headquarters, as well as cooperate closely with our subsidiaries. Accounting Manager with focus on team development and process optimization
In the position as Accounting Manager, your most important responsibility is to lead the team to successfully deliver on your objectives by being an engaging and motivating lead of your team. This will include daily management, having one-on-one conversations, being a sparring partner, challenge as is while empowering your team to make decisions and implement new ways of working. Furthermore, as a global process owner within the accounting area, you must ensure continuous development of processes focusing on standardization, optimization, and automation.

More specifically your tasks will be:

• Being a present, motivating and engaging manager
• Inspire to challenge ways of working and implement initiatives to make the team a center of excellence
• Break down strategy to tangible tasks and objectives leading the accounting function to the next level
• Ensure continuous development of processes that embraces an international organization
• Securing a cross-country collaboration and a strong relationship with subsidiaries

Personality matters
As a manager you encourage teamwork as well as value each team member and always keep motivation high, whether through pep talks, 1:1 feedback, recognition, or celebrating achievements. Furthermore, you meet your team where they are, and show understanding, while always maintaining a positive outlook even during challenging periods. You promote open communication and create a supportive environment where constructive discussions lead the way to uncovering pitfalls and discovering new solutions. You are known for your ability to communicate clearly while you understand that listening actively and asking with the intention to understand are equally important.

You have an economic degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration, experience of working in a global organization. You have a proven track record of developing new ways of working, creating global standardization and implementing automation tools to accommodate the growth of the organization.

It is a requirement that you master English and Danish on a professional level – both orally and written.
