Senior Compliance Officer – Senior Regulatory Engagement Manager

The relevant candidate will join our Regulatory Engagement team, a part of Group Compliance, and take part in the journey of continuously improving Danske Bank’s engagements with our regulators.

In Regulatory Engagement we act as the point of entry for the regulators, like the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, Data Protection Agency and Competition and Consumer Authority, and we operate internationally across all Danske Bank business units. As part of our 16-member team, you will help define, maintain, and enhance the framework for and manage Danske Bank's interactions with supervisory authorities. We prioritize collaboration, integrity, and fostering an open dialogue to thrive in our team-up, own it and be open culture.
Your primary role is to handle and manage the relationship between Danske Bank Group and the Danish regulators. You will support supervisory dialogues, commitments, and participate in supervisory engagements. The specific focus area will be defined on the basis of your knowledge and competencies. Other team members will rely on your support and contribution. Plus, you will ensure Danske Bank meets regulator requests, potential orders, inspections, and other commitments.
Manage the relationship between Danske Bank Group and Danish regulators
We seek a collaborative individual who works well individually as well as across various teams within Group Compliance and across the Group. A great candidate enjoys creating and maintaining relations with many different stakeholders with widely different backgrounds. As this is a role that focuses on interacting with regulators, you enjoy advising and aligning on the Group’s interactions with regulators and manage the relationship between Danske Bank Group and the regulator in collaboration with responsible leaders and employees, and external stakeholders.
Qualifications for this role:
- Relevant academic background.
- Knowledge of European and Danish financial regulation.
- 3+ years of experience in a role involving financial crime, regulatory compliance or risk matters.
- Proficiency in interacting with diverse colleagues and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in Danish and English, written and spoken.
