Tech Lead for Agile Development Team

You will act as the technical leader on an agile team, which works on the development of CPQ and Sales Tools. You will be closely collaborating with the product owner and developers to ensure that we deliver high quality software using the right technology and architecture, while following good software development practices.

What you will do:Technical:

  • Act as a “playing coach” and provide technical leadership.
  • Be part of designing, implementing, and maintaining our products.
  • Ensure that we follow good development practices around clean code and good quality​.
  • Set a direction for the product area you work in, together with the Product Owner and the Products leadership team​.
  • Perform code reviews.
  • Participate in the creation and evolution of development processes and coding standards.
  • Define the architecture in collaboration with the other Tech Leads.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the team’s continuous integration.
  • Design and implement unit test and integration test of own code modules.
  • Maintenance and bug fixing on existing Ace product.

Agile:

  • Create and communicate the development plan at PI Planning together with the Product Owner​.
  • Ensure there’s a good plan for the sprint, including quality efforts​.
  • Ensure that issues that arise from retrospectives are implemented​.
  • Ensure that we look at the burndown and help to the team get organised so that we meet our goals. Propose an alternative course of action if goals are not meet, together with the Product Owner​.

Leadership:

  • Get the best out of the people on the team and helping them become a success.
  • Help guide the team so that tasks are distributed evenly and appropriately. We want to maximize individual team member involvement, and balance that with what works best for the entire team​.

What you bring

  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar. Alternatively, a bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience
  • Experience from a Tech Lead position
  • Experience in working with performance, large data sets etc.
  • Experience in working with enterprise software and cloud applications
  • Ability to dive into and work on a large and complex codebase
  • Experience in or compatible mindset for working in an agile development environment
  • You are self-driven and thrive on working autonomously within a team
  • Enthusiastic, pragmatic and a can-do attitude
  • A desire to stay current with technology, best practices and a willingness to learn and coach others

Desired technical skills

  • Mastery in C# and .NET.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and MS Azure
  • Front-end technologies such as React and Angular
  • SQL databases, document databases, and other storage technologies
  • CI/CD, GitHub and deployment processes
  • Architecture and design principles
  • Testing methodologies and tools
