Join B&O in this new Business Controller position, working as part of a collaborative team that supports the central Group Functions.

Your role specifically will be to support Global Marketing, Global Retail and Product Marketing. Being a vital link between central commercial functions and the retail execution in the regions, you will support the organisation on finance related matters, as well as oversee the marketing & retail activity planning and product- & customer journey for Bang & Olufsen.

Key responsibilities

• Reliable and accurate budgeting and forecasting within the respective area of support.
• Prepare budget and forecasts in close collaboration with the regional organizations - follow up on forecasts and ensure the appropriate gap analysis.
• Supporting best possible allocation of marketing and other resources in the business areas based on data insights and return on investments (ROI).
• Oversee monthly follow up on activity- & project planning, cost & investment and ecommerce revenue
• Support Global Accounting team with month-end closing.
• Develop business cases for new products, projects and other initiatives (marketing activities, product launches / lifecycle, pricing etc.)
• Prepare ad hoc in-depth financial analysis for the organization and management.
• Identify gaps in existing tools and processes to optimize and facilitate the improvement of these areas

What you bring
We are seeking someone with the financial ‘tool-box’ and experience as a Business Controller. Additionally, this person needs to be a comprehensive communicator, able to translate financial data to a wide range of stakeholders internationally.

Moreover, you bring:

• 3-5 years of experience within Business Controlling, Financial Controlling or Financial Planning & Analysis
• Experience of commercial controlling within Sales & Marketing, Retail or Luxury
• Comprehensive communication skills – and ability to communicate with stakeholders with varying degrees of financial knowledge
• Highly collaborative, proactively working with colleagues across various functions and cultural backgrounds.
• Flexible and responsive, able to navigate ambiguity.
• Fluency in English is a mandatory.
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in economics, finance or a related field
• IT skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, PowerBI and SAP.

What we offer
You will join a team of 3 Business Controllers reporting to the Head of Group Business Controlling. The team supports the central functions; Supply Chain (R&D, Software, Customer Care etc.), Group Functions, Strategic Partnerships as finance business partners beyond the commercial functions you will oversee. The role entails close collaboration and sparring with the regional business controlling teams.
