Join us as out new Associate Scientist:
We are looking for a creative, passionate, and enthusiastic colleague to design the value proposition and produce technical data for sales material within the Household Care Industry. You will be part of the HHC European Application Center team in Technical Service, reporting to the Head of European Application Center and collaborating closely with a broad group of colleagues within Technical Service, Sales, Marketing, Applied Research, Communications and more, and our customers.

This job will be located in Bagsværd, Denmark. Occasional travelling for customer meetings and conferences will be part of your job activities.

We provide world class technical support and innovative solutions to our customers engaged in the detergent industry. You’ll be part of a great team in Technical Service organization together with other 4 highly skilled and innovative scientists. The team goal is to accelerate business opportunities and elevate Novonesis’ technical support to customers, by developing near to market biosolutions for the household care laundry and dish segments, create demos and prototypes, and enhancing customer engagement through engaging demos and sales material that combine market insights with technical solutions to create ‘WOW’ costumer experiences.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Playing a key role in translating technical data into demonstration items, videos and sales materials.
• Design lab trials and work in the lab minimum 50% of the time to test and demonstrate enzymes benefits
• You will also on a regular basis be directly involved in customer meetings presenting some of our new product launches.
• In collaboration with our Application Research, Sales and Marketing units, you will be launching and supporting innovative products and services to drive growth.

To succeed you must hold:

• A MSc in natural science, e.g. biotechnology, biochemistry, food science, chemistry or similar
• A desire to work in the laboratory minimum 50% of the time
• Excellent presentation skills in English
• Ability to communicate technical data with a consumer mindset
• An open mind and good collaboration skills with many different interfaces (customers, internal R&D, Marketing and Communication)
• A strong drive, excellent communication and influencing skills while operating effectively in a network-based environment.
• A flair for providing technical training – internally as well as externally.
• Have a digital and data driven mindset, as well as a logical approach to problem solving
• Additional language skills (e.g. French, Spanish and/or German) are a great plus
• Experience working with enzymes and/or detergents or creating demos and prototypes in a FMCG setting, is not essential but is considered a significant advantage
