We are looking for an experienced finance professional, with a strong business acumen for the position as Business Finance Officer (BFO) to Falck Direct Care domiciled in Copenhagen.
The BFO will head the business finance organisation in Falck Direct Care with app. DKK +1.0b in revenue and play a pivotal role in executing Falck’s “Care for more ’27” strategy as financial and business advisor, integrator, strategist and communicator. The position will be part of the Business Unit (BU) leadership team, as well as the leadership team in Business Finance across Falck. ​

About the job

The BFO for Direct Care will work closely with the BU leadership team providing financial and business insights as well as strong leadership. You are expected to envision, understand, and work towards the bigger picture, while translating strategic perspectives into clear action plans. You will be managing a smaller team situated in Denmark. Travelling will be limited.

Some of the job headlines include:

• Orchestrating and manage financial steering for Direct Care by combining strong communication skills with advanced analytics for data-driven decision making
• Key position in the leadership team for Direct Care acting as proactive sparring partner across the leadership team
• Establish and lead relevant management reporting and data insights
• Lead forecasting process in the BU increasing financial predictability
• Drive the Business Finance agenda across the BU
• Develop and improve data quality
• Business case development
• Provide commercial insight and ensure a holistic financial understanding across the full value chain
• Formulating and leading ad-hoc projects

About you To succeed in the role, you possess a strong mix of strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, business acumen and communication skills. You work in a structured manner; you take initiative and challenge status quo. Your analytical mindset takes you beyond the numbers to ensure business understanding and impact on performance. You are outgoing, self-motivating, forward looking and demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills.

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• +10 years of relevant experience preferably from management positions in Business Finance.
• Profound finance acumen and strategic mindset along with curiosity to understand business.
• Experienced integrator between Business and Finance with excellent stakeholder management skills
• You hold the ability to translate complex issues into clear messages and convey these to the various stakeholders in a simple and compelling way.
• An analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem solving, focusing on the underlying value drivers.
• Experience from working with data and business intelligence tools is an advantage.
• A relevant master’s degree or similar (preferable in finance, economics, or business administration)
• Fluent in English
