We are currently looking for Cloud Operations Director who will will be responsible for managing a team of 8 people leading both cloud ops and devops for Omada Identity Cloud. You will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure, as well as the deployment and delivery of the software updates and features. You will also ensure the availability, performance, and security of the service, as well as the compliance with the relevant standards and regulations. We will consider candidates from Germany, Denmark and Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor the cloud ops and devops team members and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Define and implement the cloud ops and devops strategy, roadmap, and best practices for Omada Identity Cloud.
  • Monitor and optimize the cloud infrastructure, resources, and costs using Azure and Microsoft tools.
  • Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipelines and processes using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and other tools.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of the software releases and deployments using automated testing, code reviews, and performance metrics.
  • Implement and maintain the Grafana dashboards and alerts for monitoring and troubleshooting the service.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure the alignment and delivery of the business and customer requirements.
  • Manage and resolve the cloud ops and devops incidents and issues and provide root cause analysis and preventive actions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the cloud ops and devops domain and evaluate and adopt new tools and solutions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in cloud ops and devops, preferably in Azure and Microsoft environments.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and leading cloud ops and devops teams.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Azure services, tools, and architectures, such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in CI/CD tools and processes, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Grafana, including dashboard design, data sources, plugins, alerts, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in identity and access management concepts and standards, such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in security and compliance best practices and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
